Qualifications & Certifications: We've been in this business since 1978; and
we qualify as a Certified Restorer under the exacting standards of the National Institute of Disaster Restoration.
It's the highest designation achievable in the restoration industry! We
have worked in flood devastated areas like New Orleans, Texas and Florida.
We have won both national and regional awards for our restoration efforts
(see sidebar).
We employ Master Carpenters, Restoration Technicians, Electricians, Mold Experts, and more. Our staff holds more than 100 certificates awarded by nationally recognized schools of interior cleaning, odor removal, water damage repair, mold remediation, duct system inspection & cleaning, among others. Knowledge Equals Cost Control. The science of our business is to know which structural elements can be restored instead of replaced…to know how to use technologies that prevent post-disaster damage…to know the most cost-effective way to restore each property to its prior condition. RECENT AWARDS: 
The Chrysalis Awards honor the finest remodeling projects in the United States. Compleat Restorations was honored to win the 2007 Regional Chrysalis Award for the Northeast U.S. during the fourteenth annual Chrysalis Awards for Remodeling Excellence held in Atlanta, GA.
Even
more exciting was when, during
that award ceremony, it was announced that Compleat Restorations had been
selected from the regional winners as the recipient of the 2007 National Chrysalis Award for
Remodeling Excellence in Residential Restoration!
The Chrysalis Awards are judged by The American Institute of Building Design, as well as editors and writers of Better Homes & Gardens, Women's Day Home Remodeling and Makeover, Southern Living, and Sunset magazines. Entries are judged on overall design, creative use of space and materials, and the degree to which the project enhanced the original structure.
The project for which Compleat Restorations won the award was restoring a historic 1800's York County property after a major fire and being exposed to the elements for months.
